Greetings Tantaly customers. I have finally had the pleasure to receive and spend some time with the new Donna doll. Please read on for my review.
~Overview~
Donna is advertised as a sexy doll based on customer suggestions and proportionate to a scaled down size of a real female. Her smaller size and lower weight make her ideal for beginners. She is one of the first dolls to come with custom packaging that is designed to store the doll discretely while not in use.
As per usual my review will be based on those promises along with my own experience using the doll.
First and foremost, I will mention that Donna's design is absolutely beautiful. The photos on Tantaly's official site, while gorgeous, does not do enough justice for this doll. Allow me to add a bit of flattery...
~Aesthetics~
Donna is based on customer suggestions from real life models, so I had to think about who she reminded me of the most. When I pulled her out of her box and gazed upon her exceptionally curvaceous figure including her large breasts, wider torso, curvy backside and slender thighs, one name quickly came to mind. The ridiculously gorgeous Charley Atwell.
The resemblance is so uncanny, I had to wonder of this was the model that was chosen. In any case, hats off to the design team on Donna. I would put her up there along with Britney and Candice in terms of pure aesthetic.
~Size, weight, cleaning, and storage~
Having experienced many dolls now, I would say Donna is definitely a good doll for beginners. She is light weight, easily manipulated into various positions, and cleaning is not a arduous task. She will definitely prep you for larger and heavier dolls like Candice, Jennifer, Aurora, or Monroe. Donna is my first leg doll, and I was curious how this would factor into her handling and cleaning. To my surprise it is not much different, especially when weighing any drawbacks to sanitization vs. the advantages thigh dolls bring to the table.
The storage case is crafty and practical. Though I feel it could still be a bit more compact, it still does the job. You won't be tucking it under your bed or anything like that, but it should be easy to allocate some closet space for it. You could buy a small padlock for the zippers to prevent unwanted viewing should someone run into the case.
~The pros and cons~
I will start with the cons:
- I did mention that the doll is well suited for beginners. This is true. However, if you are a novice level doll owner and user you may find that Donna is exactly that: For beginners. If you have become accustomed to larger dolls, Donna's smaller portions will leave one wanting for more.
- This also applies to the skin texture provided to the Britney 2.0 as Donna takes a step back from this. You can tell that not a whole lot of effort went into the muscle tone and belly button. When you look at the pictures of Charley Atwell. I would love for more stomach tone like what she has.
- The LHP is also off for both tunnels. The vaginal entrance sits about 5-7cm too high, which makes spooning difficult without awkward positioning of the whole doll. Prone boning position is best done through the anal entrance as it sits about 2-3cm too low.
- When penetrating the doll through the anal cavity in doggie style, my penis could be felt and seen protruding around where the tailbone would be. I am slightly larger than average in length and girth, so this might not be an issue if you are smaller than average. This is likely due to poor LHP placement as well.
- The only draw back with the case is you have to be a little extra careful removing Donna because the foam casing is very form-fitting, and it can be easy to damage the doll while removing her. Especially if you have long/jagged fingernails.
It is still a bit of a disappointment as the importance of LHP placement has been at the forefront of many customer complaints of Tantaly dolls, and when they get it accurate like with dolls such as Britney 2.0 and Candice, you would hope it would be the standard. The LHP placement is not as bad as Britney 1.0.
The pros of the doll are still aplenty:
1. As mentioned before, Donna is simply breathtaking to look at it. Her breasts are very realistic and equipped with Tantabosom technology. They are absolutely wonderful to grasp, squeeze, and suck on. Cuddling her without getting aroused is practically impossible.
2. Her thighs are wonderful. However, I am a big fan of slender thighs like seen on Charley Atwell. If you like thick, muscular thighs then you might have to place your sights elsewhere. Donna's entire body, including her thighs exudes femininity. She's ripped right out of a Greek mythology trope.
3. Speaking of the thighs, while some conventional positions are a bit awkward, the thighs open the door to other positions that make up for it. I did mention prone bone already, which the legs are designed to do, but you can place her legs in a scissor formation for a variation of this position. This was the highlight of my experience with Donna. My excitement fucking her like this was through the roof....
4. Leg-up missionary is possible with a doll like Donna, and the thighs also add to the cuddling experience if you are looking for a night time companion.
5. Her labia is absolutely fantastic. Donna has such a pretty pussy, and easily passes the cunnilingus test. It is very fun, and very arousing to eat her out, and how enthusiastically you will dive into her would make any real woman jealous of the attention you're giving her. Once again the thighs are advantageous here because you place them in an elevated position, you can grip them while performing oral on Donna.
6. She's also fun to spank. I spent an adequate amount of time with her bent over my lap as she begged me to discipline her for being such a naughty girl. Too bad the ass checks don't get red as you spank her. Now that would be something!
7. Her smaller size can be advantageous. I'll be frank. If you're into all of those anime lollies while listening to lo-fi tunes on YouTube, Donna is fucking perfect to fulfill those fantasies!
~Suggestions~
I do have some suggestions for Tantaly:
- One thing that struck me when spreading the thighs on this doll is what I've noticed with all dolls with this capability, and that is how the vagina and anal openings stretch along with the thighs being spread. Real female anatomy does not do this. I am curious if something can be done to keep the integrity of the labia and rectum intact while the legs are being spread. This would allow for a more immersive experience when having with sex with and eating out the dolls.
- The storage case is very form fitting. Design the storage foam to have cutouts that makes it easier to grab the doll from its midsection. This would aid greatly in preventing damage to doll while removing her.
- A much deeper crevice where the buttocks meet. Several Tantaly dolls suffer from this like Monica and Jennifer which are also leg dolls. Somehow Tantaly designers should try to keep this intact. Dolls like Monroe and Morgpie are better designs in this regard.
- A larger option. A leg doll with Candice's proportions would be fantastic to keep cost lower than dolls like Jennifer, Monroe, Aurora 2.0 and Morgpie. Monica is the closest we currently have to that, but Monica's curvature is not realistic. If Candice's ass could remain intact while also making her a leg doll and giving her breasts like Donna or Britney, I think you might have another potential best seller on your hands. Especially among leg dolls.
~In closing~
To close, the main thing I was wanting from Donna was for her to provide a new experience that my previous dolls could not do. I was actually a bit skeptical, but Donna ended up coming through here. The thighs without question bring new things to the table, thus giving true functionality and authenticity to the term "leg doll". A lot could be done to improve upon this doll, but being a beginner doll you cannot go wrong here and she is a worthwhile purchase for sure. I give Donna a 3.9 out of 5 stars.
