Let me share a story (and pics) of my session with my lovely Aurora 2.0 tonight, I had just intended to post outfit pics, but I discovered some valuable VAM_Moose wisdom I think many of you will appreciate ☺️
So, I wanted to go for a summer bikini vibe tonight because I was looking through my clothes and found a White Bikini I hadn't used in a while. The white bikini was one of my first outfits I got for her for a couple reasons. The bikini strings can be tied to adjust to fit the doll easily, especially given Aurora's disproportionately large breasts and swimsuits by their very nature tend to be easy to clean and durable. The only downside to a bikini is the bras tend to be a "halter" type (goes around the back of the neck) and since the doll has no head, this strong can come off.
To help with the last point, I put on her an old Hoodie of mine to "anchor" the neck bikini strap to the back of her neck, and it helped and looked great! 😁 But this had an added bonus...I was playing with Aurora in a Seated Cowgirl position, and I naturally have to keep supporting her back otherwise she'll fall away from me. That's when the idea struck me! 💡I took the long sleeves of the Hoodie, strapped them around the back of my neck, and tied them! Now, it's as if Aurora had arms of her own and she can "hold onto me" for a close embrace. 🤗 This freed up my hands to caress her body however I wished! An easy solution that anyone can do! 😁
But the wisdom doesn't stop there! Once I was done, it was time to clean. Took her into the tub, lathered up a couple of microfiber cloth sticks with hand soap and gently inserted them into each tunnel and swirled them around to evenly apply soap into the tunnels and all the way into the back. I recommend these sticks before in an older post, they're meant for dusting and are very cheap on Amazon and can be used for effectively washing and drying the tunnels.
Once the tunnels were all soapy, took the sticks out and used the douche that comes with the Tantaly Cleaning Kit and sqweezed warm water into both holes until soap was gone.
The douche being black does have its PROS and CONs. It being black makes it easy to tell if there is any leftover bodily fluids on the outside as they'll appear as white smears. Just use a soapy wash cloth and hot water and give the rod a good scrubbing. It may take a bit to get the little bits off the tip, but you'll get it eventually. I also rinse the inside with hot water. But this is where a second idea came up 💡. I used the soapy microfiber stick I used earlier and stuck it INTO the douche rod just to give it a good cleaning, TURNS OUT THERE WAS MOLD GROWING IN THERE 🤢 Everyone knows to clean their dolls, but no one thinks to clean their cleaning tools! This is the CON of the douche being black, you can't tell how dirty it is in there, so make sure to clean it every time!
If you're reading this, consider upgrading the douche transparent silicone so people can see mold and other debris better.
Anyways, now I take her out of the bathroom and onto some clean towels to air dry. I stick a fresh pair of dry microfiber sticks and let them sit in there while I wait for the external to dry. I use a smaller dry face cloth to dab the skin to get any bits of water, especially from any parts that would pinch, like the bikini line, the butt crack and between the breasts. I've been writing part of this story up while I wait for her to dry. I take the sticks out, put in a new pair, flip Aurora over, and sprinkle appropriate amount of Cornstarch Baby Powder to the lower torso, and use a makeup brush to evenly apply the powder. The sticks plugging the holes also help prevent any powder accidentally getting into the holes!
